Hulk Hogan won't appear in WWE 2K16

Hulk Hogan won’t be in this year’s WWE 2K16 following revelations that the former pro wrestler made racist remarks during a sex tape.

“We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly,” 2K said in a statement. “We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16.”

The sex tape is at the center of a lawsuit between Hogan and the online publishing company Gawker. The racist remarks, which were leaked recently online, have hit Hogan hard.

Not only is the wrestler being dropped from 2K’s video game franchise, the WWE has removed Hogan’s photos, articles, and merchandise from its website.

Play as the Terminator in 2K16

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role as the "T-800 model Terminator" in WWE 2K16.

According to a press release from publisher 2K, Arnold will represent two playable T-800s - one from the original 1984 film, and another from 1991's Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Both will be available exclusively to those who pre-order WWE 2K16 from retailers such as Gamestop, Amazon, or any other major retailer accepting pre-orders.

While we haven't gotten any shots of what he'll look like in-game yet, here's a neat video of Arnold recreating a famous scene from Terminator 2 with various WWE Superstars:


WWE 2K16 comes out on PS3. PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in North America on October 27, followed by its international release on October 30.

NXT ArRival DLC now available for WWE 2K15


The “NXT ArRival” DLC is now available for “WWE 2K15,” game developer 2K Sports confirmed in a press release today obtained by Examiner


For the suggested retail price of $6.99, gamers get access to former FCW Champion and NXT Star Adam Rose, former NXT Tag Team Champions Viktor and Konnor of The Ascension and NXT Diva Emma. Former WWE Champion and NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield is also included in the DLC.

With all four added characters spending considerable time in both NXT and the WWE this year, the DLC adds an extra level of playability to “WWE 2K15,” whether it be in the mid-card of the game’s story or Universe mode or a dream match between “WWE 2K15” cover star John Cena and his early career rival JBL.
